Every November the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show fills the halls at the NEC. Square Wheels is usually there: a club stand in Hall 3, a couple of cars on the blue carpet, and brethren ready to talk about the vehicles and the Craft.

This is the Austin Seven on the stand — SXS 665, maroon over black, still wearing the miles. The sort of car that stops people mid-aisle.
David Laidlaw’s MGB has already had its turn on that same stand, and at the Practical Classics show. The point of the weekend is not the silverware. It is the conversations — owners, guests, and the odd visitor who did not know a Masonic motoring lodge existed.
The next Classic Motor Show is 13–15 November 2026. If you are going, come and find us.
