A heads-up for brethren who fancy a proper classic-car Sunday in Warwickshire: the 9th Round Table Dorridge Day Classic Car Show is on Sunday 6 September 2026. This is a Round Table day out, not a Square Wheels Lodge meeting — and a good one if you like engines, a short convoy, and a park full of interesting metal.
Final call. Spaces are still available, but the organisers are asking people to book in quickly if they want a place on the display.
Date note: an earlier circular carried a typo. To be clear, Dorridge Day is on 6 September 2026.
Timing note: the start has been brought forward by 30 minutes.
Rally option
Arrive at the Black Boy Pub, Knowle B93 0EB, between 09:30 and 10:00 if you want to join the convoy.
From 10:00 the run leaves via Warwick Road into Knowle Village, left onto Station Road past K&D Cricket Club, through Dorridge Village, then left onto Arden Road / Arden Drive into Dorridge Park. The convoy is led by Gordon Harvey in his red 1966 MG.
Direct to the park
If you prefer not to rally, go straight to the display area at Dorridge Park, Arden Road, B93 8LJ for 10:00. Arrive on time so you do not clash with the convoy coming in.
Owners take part and display at their own risk. Round Table volunteers will be on site to help with directions.
There is no entry fee. Voluntary donations are welcome on the day — Round Table collection buckets at the park — and surplus goes to local good causes.
If you are interested, book in via the lodge channels / follow the Round Table Dorridge Day details, and enjoy the day. Look out for interesting cars, a bit of Warwickshire road, and a park full of people who turned up because they still like driving the things.
